With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Master’s in Graphic Design, social media has been one of my primary professional focus areas. My work combines digital marketing, visual design, and content strategy to create clear, niche, and engaging experiences across platforms using a unified brand language.
I’ve worked with nonprofits, academic institutions, and small businesses in the arts, wellness, beauty, and education sectors, adapting tone, voice, visuals, and messaging to support brand identity, audience engagement, and long-term social media growth.
Artists Connect Edmonds, WA
For one year, I managed the Instagram account for Artists Connect, a nonprofit artist community based in Edmonds, Washington.
I led content planning, visual design, copywriting, and daily audience engagement, ensuring all content aligned with the organization’s mission and community-focused values.
I produced and scheduled posts, stories, and reels on Instagram to promote workshops, monthly programs, and regional art markets across Edmonds, Seattle, Kirkland, and nearby cities. The content was tailored to the organization’s core audience, primarily senior creatives seeking to expand their artistic knowledge and established artists within the community, while maintaining a consistent and accessible visual language.
Working closely with the Gallery Coordinator and Newsletter team, I adapted information across social media, email, print collateral material, and actively managed inquiries through direct messages. During my time in this role, the Instagram account experienced a 60% increase in followers, reflecting steady engagement and community growth.
Art Promotional Campaigns
As part of the marketing team, I designed print and digital assets to promote seasonal events, including the "Art Splash" Summer Art Market and the Holiday Market.
For Art Splash, I served as the lead designer, creating postcards and posters distributed throughout the coastal town of Edmonds. The campaign extended to social media, where I introduced featured artists and their work to generate anticipation, encourage community interaction, and support event attendance.
The visual system used sandy, light, and airy color palettes, reflecting the coastal environment while highlighting the diversity of the artists’ work. This integrated approach strengthened brand recognition and supported organic growth from the local community and new visitors alike.

Suffolk University MAGD program
During my Graduate Fellowship at Suffolk University, I managed the Instagram account for the Master of Arts in Graphic Design (MAGD) program. I highlighted student work and program achievements, interviewed students and professors, and shared a personal look into the academic community to encourage interaction and engagement.
The work focused on elevating student perspectives and maintaining consistency across digital content, print materials, and the university’s visual identity. Alongside social media, I collaborated closely with the Program Director to design print promotional assets for recruitment and student visibility.

As a bilingual social media writer, Spanish-language content has been a core part of my career since the beginning. At Marketing Smart Branding, I led the Copywriting department, managing content for seven client accounts simultaneously across multiple industries.
My role focused on developing distinct brand voices, aligning language with each audience, and building scalable content systems. Once writing styles were established, I collaborated with designers and other copywriters to create cohesive campaigns that converted followers into clients.
Industries included wellness and beauty, language institutes, jewelry, healthcare, and the maritime/port sector. Based on market research and competitor analysis, I developed structured systems covering:
